One of my favorite bloggers used this quote in his blogpost titled “Choose Your Fear”
“If you don’t choose a fear, one will be chosen for you….” Ben Arment. From Good Morning you’re Awesome by Keith Monaghan.com
I believe the same goes for change. If you don’t take charge of your own life and make the changes to live the life you want, then you will be swept up into the sea of change flowing constantly around you, unable to create your own path and journey.
Change is inevitable. Are you ready to abandon your fears and choose to embrace change in your life?
I have lived in many places, had many jobs/businesses, and done some traveling. And yet it wasn’t until a cross country move to state number seven combined with the death of a parent in the same year, that the reality and necessity of facing fears and creating positive change caught up with me. I believe that there are many resources such as books and classes to help us make the changes we need to make. Different ideas and suggestions will speak to different people. I want this site to be suggestive for all of you and not prescriptive. In other words, use the information that I convey and make it your own. If it resonates with you then work with it. If it doesn’t, let it go. I am passionate about yoga and one thing that is important when leading a class is to know that everyone will learn a new pose, or way of working in a pose, differently. So don’t be afraid to play with what I offer here. It is meant to be a guideline for inspiring you on your own path. Enjoy, embrace, speak up, and let’s have some fun on this journey.
